“My Mentor takes me to volunteer at the pet shelter, to the park to swim and take pictures. She listens to me when I am having problems at home or in school. I used to hurt myself when I was sad, she taught me to talk about my feelings instead. My Mentor is the one person I can count on not to judge me, no matter what I’ve done.”
